Come along to get hands-on experience with pig experts Emma Baxter and Marianne Farish with SRUC’s cutting-edge pig husbandry practice models, “Heidi”, “Castro” and “Weany”.
Using these anatomically accurate models, you will receive training on procedures including correct needle technique, breeding (including AI technique) and farrowing (including birthing assistance).
Please note: these sessions are very practical so are restricted to groups of six, and will be booked up fast.
