Cattle Showcase
Our fantastic native breed cattle, especially those that are now rare and minority, are a very popular choice for smallholders. Suitable for low input, forage based systems, the beef produced is second to none. And there’s always an opportunity to do some home dairying too!
For 2024, the Festival aims to showcase as many native cattle breeds as possible. While we will be approaching breed societies, we are more than happy to work with individual breed enthusiasts to bring livestock to the Festival.
