How to get to the Festival
The Festival is being held at The Highland Hall, Royal Highland Centre, EH28 8NB
You must enter the Festival via the North Gate. This is the gate nearest to the airport runways.
By road
The Highland Hall is located at the Royal Highland Centre which is situated next to the airport in Edinburgh. Follow signs to the car park which is run by the Royal Highland Centre and costs £10 per car.
By rail and bus
The Royal Highland Centre is accessible by public transport.
The venue is accessible via a few public transport routes, however be aware this will still involve a fair amount of walking to the North Entrance which is the only entrance to the event. The timings below are only indicative for the main showground. You should allow for a further 10 minute walk to get to the North Gate.
Ingliston Park & Ride is 0.9 miles from the venue – 20 minute walk
Lothian Bus – Airlink 100 service also will drop at the airport with a slightly less walk of 12 minutes to the centre.
Lothian Bus – X18, X24, X38 and AIR 900 services stop on Glasgow Rd with a short walk around 5 minutes to the centre. All services depart from various areas so might not be suitable for all.
If you are getting a taxi to the event, tell the driver to take you to the gate by the Holiday Inn Express.
By air
Edinburgh Airport is located adjacent to the Royal Highland Centre.There are regular flights from most European countries and UK regional airports.
