Wendy Barrie
Cook, campaigner and food writer Wendy Barrie established her award-winning guides in 2002. Co-author with husband Bosse of “Meadows: The Swedish Farmer & The Scottish Cook” on biodiversity, self-sufficiency and regenerative food production, Wendy leads Scotland’s Slow Food Ark of Taste and SF Cooks Alliance, co-founded the Scottish Bread Championship and regularly shares expertise on international platforms, participating on food tourism and biodiversity across Europe.
Wendy runs sustainable food travel experiences at their Fife food studio on topics including artisan cheese, food heritage and native breeds. In Sweden, they enjoy the rural backwaters of Småland on their organic smallholding.
