The Festival has always encouraged young people to come and find out about life at the smaller end of farming. Many of our competitions feature young handler classes. So this year, we have decided to open up a reduced price ticket for young farmers and students who are interested in coming along and finding out about traditional skills, traditional breeds, seminars on starting out, and the opportunity to talk with small farmers from across Scotland and beyond.
Young Farmers just need to tell us the branch they belong to, University students and school pupils just let us have the name of the place where you study, and you will enjoy a reduced ticket price of £5 plus VAT (£6), only available until the 18th October.
Note if you are under 14 you dont need a ticket but you do need to be accompanied by someone buying a full price ticket.
