Livestock and showcase exhibitors
Access
Livestock and showcase exhibitors will receive entry wristbands, a vehicle pass, and full instructions by post in the week before the Festival.
The Festival is being held at The Highland Hall, Royal Highland Centre, EH28 8NB. All livestock and showcase exhibitors will enter the venue at Gate 6. Please display your vehicle pass prominently on approach to the venue to assist the staff checking in traffic.
Exhibitors who have arranged with their stewards for Friday arrival may pen their animals on the evening of Friday 13th October between the hours of 5pm and 8pm only.
The Highland Hall will be open from 7am on Saturday 14th October and animals must be in their allocated pens by 9.00 am. No access will be available after this time.
Unloading and penning
Once through Gate 6, proceed to the unloading door for your respective species:
- Goats: Door 2
- Sheep: Door 3
- Cattle: Door 4
- Equines and alpacas: Door 5
- Pigs: Door P
Traffic management will be in operation, please follow the instructions of the stewards.
Parking
Once your animals have been unloaded, you will be directed to the parking area by stewards.
Loading and departure
Exhibitors may load their animals after 4pm or immediately after all judging is completed, whichever is the later, unless permission to leave early has been given by your steward.
Exhibitors who have arranged with their stewards for Sunday departure must leave the venue by 9am on the morning of Sunday 15th October.
