You can now book to take part in a number of sessions with limited space, or where a booking fee applies. All of these sessions are bookable through https://festival.scot/product-category/workshops/
These sessions include the fantastic Willow Star Workshop which is being run by Deeside Willow on their stand at 2pm. The workshop will take around 1¾ hours and is suitable for ages 12+.Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. All materials and tools will be provided and tickets cost £25 p.p.

The Floral Art mini-workshop is at 10am in the Handcrafts workshop. It will take around 2 hours and is suitable for 12+. The cost of the session is £7.50 per person and there are 12 spaces. Participants will be tutored in the basic techniques of flower arranging and floral art and will take away a small display.
The Pyrography mini-workshop will run twice – at 12.00pm and 1pm. The workshop will take around 1 hour and there are 12 places available – 6 per session. The cost of the session is £7.50 per person and it is suitable for ages 12+. Note children between 12-14 must be accompanied by an adult.
The Wicker wreath mini-workshop is at 2pm in the Handcrafts Workshop. The workshop will take around 2 hours and There are 12 places available. The cost of the session is £10.00 per person. Suitable for ages 12+. Note children between 12-14 must be accompanied by an adult. You will be given a basic wreath shape and then instructed how to decorate it. You will take your wreath away with you.
Finally, in the Scottish Food Guide Theatre:

The session is at 11:30am in the Scottish Food Guide Theatre, on the foyer lower floor. The session will take around 45 minutes and is free of charge. Only 30 places are available. You will be comparing and contrasting their flavours and characteristics on individual tasting platters.
Reserve a place for Artisan Cheese Tasting with Scottish Cheese Trail:
The session is at 1.30pm in the Scottish Food Guide Theatre, on the foyer lower floor.
The session will take around 45 minutes and is free of charge. Only 30 places are available.
Join us for a taste experience with flavours and stories from a selection of Scotland’s unique artisan cheeses on Scottish Cheese Trail. Each participant will have a tasting box and information on each cheese.
All of these sessions are available on a first come, first served basis, and are only available as one order per person.
