10:30am
SRUC Theatre, Main Hall
FAS and SRUC Vets will demonstrate lambing equipment, potential lamb presentations at birth, common problems and lamb first-aid procedures, with a chance for you to try your hand at these yourself.
Stuffed models are used for demo (no live animals). Numbers are limited by necessity, on a first-come-first served basis, and sorry, there won’t be a chance for young children to have a shot in this educational session which is aimed at over 14’s.
A second chance for any of those who were unable to gain entry in the first session at 9.30am, description above – again this practical education session is for over 14’s only, and due to the hands-on nature we will have to run it on a limited-numbers, first-come-first served basis.
