Cookery Theatre, Foyer ground floor
Join this session to learn some practical skills, hints and tips for getting started producing and conserving your own fruit and vegetables – and selling direct to your local community.
In Scotland we import over 60% of all the fruit and veg we eat, often from countries that are vulnerable to extreme climate change. We also saw our own field crops suffer with flooding in Scotland last year.
There’s never been a more important time to get started growing your own, and now more than ever we need small scale vegetable producers who can boost resilience in their communities.
