Frequently Asked Questions
Admission (and re-admission)
Entry to the event is by ticket which are available to buy from our website. Each ticket has a unique barcode which will be scanned on entry. Without this barcode you will not be admitted, and you will have to buy a ticket on the gate. Re-admission will be possible with a hand stamp only.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome at the Festival on the understanding that they are kept on a short lead, and under control. Owners must clean up after them.
Dogs (except assistance dogs) are not permitted in the livestock areas.
They are not allowed in the restaurant or cookery theatre, nor are they allowed in the upstairs foyer.
If a steward asks you to remove your dog from an area, you must do so immediately.
First aid and medical
For medical assistance please phone 999 in case of emergency, or alternatively speak to a steward who will take you to the medical centre which is situated in the Foyer of the Hall.
Food
There are a number of food outlets within the food court. Seating is also available.
Food must not be taken into the livestock areas, and no food should be given to any livestock under any circumstances. Anyone seen doing so will be asked to leave the Festival.

Show information is available from the Smallholding Scotland stand in the Foyer or from one of our Stewards.
Membership
For enquiries about how to join Smallholding Scotland please visit the stand for the charity in the Foyer.
Parent and baby facilities
Baby changing and feeding facilities can be found in the foyer of the Hall.
Security
Security stewards are stationed throughout the show hall. Please ask them for help should you need it.
Toilets
Toilet facilities including those with accessible needs are available in the foyer of the Hall.
