At Upper Ballaird Farm Coop we are a workers cooperative, growing and selling vegetables and flowers.

“It is our goal to support the health and well-being of our community and environment through food, flowers, and outdoor services, produced and sold by empowered workers with regenerative livelihoods.”

We established in Dec 2022 and have spent our year building infrastructure, setting up irrigation, planting 1200 native shrubs and trees, planning and putting into practice a veg box scheme and cut flower production. It is a priority for us to look at the big picture in our production so we grow using agroecological practices. We are planning the next stage of our production by incorporating alley cropping into our site design.
